The Space:
The Akaroa Oceanview Home is a beautiful three-bedroom property, situated up the hill from the village offering the most breathtaking views of Akaroa. This two-story home features two spacious queen bedrooms, one twin bunk bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a private TV room and a sunlit lounge opening up to a 180-degree wrap-around balcony. With doors scattered around the front of the house for ultimate indoor-outdoor flow.
Guest Access:
Guests have easy access to private bush walks down to the village centre where you can visit playgrounds, beachfront restaurants, and cafes. Please be aware that accessing the house requires driving down a very steep driveway. As well as walking up this driveway to access the front door. Access to the lower level is also something to note as this is a ladder stair which may not be accessible for all.
The Neighborhood:
The apartment's prime location ensures that all the necessary amenities for a relaxing weekend are within walking distance (if you don't mind walking up/down hills). The waterfront area offers a delightful array of shops where visitors can discover unique trinkets and treasures. Make sure to visit the near by Giant's House, a must-visit local attraction.
Other Things to Note:
For stays of two weeks or longer, we’re happy to provide a complimentary mid-stay clean to keep everything fresh for you! If you’d also like a fresh linen change for a small fee, just let us know and we’ll get that scheduled at the same time.

Great spot in Akaroa just past the lighthouse. The house was very well set up with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. When we arrived the fire was already going and there was milk and chocolate in the fridge for us. The location was quiet and private. The driveway was not the easiest to navigate and found parking at the cemetery and then a short walk was easiest for us.Giving two thumbs up for this property and would recommend. Many thanks

Loved the property - great location, cleanliness of the highest standard, log burner was fantastic in the bad weather, but plenty of other heating options available if fire starting skills aren't in your repertoire. Very cosy with great amenities/facilities. Welcoming hosts and great communication throughout.

We had a fabulous stay in Akaroa. The house is a short walk into town which meant it was very quiet with fantastic views of the bay but still handy for going into town for all the shops & restaurants. The house was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. A great stay.
