I stayed at the Dunlin Village dormitory. It's set of very new buildings and everything was very clean and well maintained. There was a cluster of 4 private ensuite dorm rooms around a shared communal living space - kitchen area. I was a bit wary of booking here because several people had mentioned that it was very loud at night, however, since they didn't book anyone in my cluster, there was no noise at all. I didn't use the communal space very much as I was mostly out exploring the city, but it was nice to use the hot water kettle and fridge to keep leftovers. I rented a car, and there was a free car park just a few minutes walk away. I also had decent wifi in my room. There was a 24hr laundry room on the premises which was really convenient! The only drawback would be proximity to city center. It's a very lovely 25min walk if the weather is nice, or 15min bus ride (runs every 30mins), which costs about 2 Euros. With a Leap transit card, which was easy to procure in town, it costs only 1.50 Euros. It's very congested and difficult to drive in city center. I'm very happy that I stayed at the Galway Uni dorms instead.

Rooms were plenty comfortable, staff couldn’t do more for you. Needed a couple of extra pillows and they brought them straight away. Kettle broke, and they brought a new one up straight away too. Lovely campus, nice apartment, not too far from town, definitely can’t complain for the price!

Lovely room clean but very basic about 40 minutes walk from the centre there is a bus stop up the road on the right every 30 minutes 1.90 euro to the centre the spar on the corner is very handy
