good location and perfect for our family gathering. Loved the heated floor in the bathroom. it had the feel of an old stately home. oh, and the kitchen was wonderful.
it was all just lovely. but our group of 2 couples, 2 adult male brothers and teenage boy and girl, one was left to sleep on the sofa. but it all worked out.

It is hard to put into words how amazing not just this property was, but how it felt like an honour/privilege to stay there. You felt like a guest in someones house, rather then staying in a heartless holiday cottage.
Not much really, everything was amazing. I mean the wifi wasn't amazing - but you are in a house 200 years old and the walls are thick, so such as life.

Peaceful place and beautiful surroundings. Nice walks from the door. Warm, comfortable, spacious house outstandingly well equipped. Plenty of outside seating and tables. It felt like a special place to stay and was one of the most outstanding holiday homes we have stayed in.
Nothing really. Non family groups might wish for a second full bathroom. Despite the large living area there was not seating for everyone to sit together. But these are minor things which we knew about in advance from description and photos.
