Casa Antonica is a beautiful villa, perfect for couples, families, or a group of friends. It’s conveniently located near other charming towns in the Algarve, just a 40-minute drive away. There are grocery stores nearby and an amazing Italian restaurant only a 2-minute walk from the villa. The location and the villa itself were perfect!
Unfortunately, the villa was not quite “ready” upon our arrival and seemed to need a bit more inspection and care. We noticed some garbage and cigarette butts on the lawn, broken sun loungers, and a damaged parasol. The internet connection was unstable, and a few kitchen essentials, such as scissors, were broken.
It’s also worth noting that the villa does not provide basic essentials — no extra toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, or even salt and pepper. Additionally, the oven wasn’t working during our stay.
That said, the host responded promptly once we reached out and quickly resolved the issues with the chairs, parasol, and internet. We appreciated the responsiveness, though we wish these matters had been addressed before our arrival.
P.S. The main gate takes about five minutes to open and close.
