The property itself is clean, well furnished and in a good location.
Unfortunately the house is absolutely freezing! The heat pump could not maintain a reasonable temperature throughout the entire house and the small oil heater struggled in one of bedrooms with the door shut.
The high ceilings are beautiful and all of the rooms were lovely, but unfortunately it was so cold it made it extremely uncomfortable for all of us.
I’m sure the issue could be rectified with electric blankets, a few more heaters and extra bedding for the bedrooms, but unfortunately my messages to the host remain unread/unanswered.
Would most likely stay here again in summer, but unless the heating issues are dealt with I would not recommend it in winter sadly.
