Welcome to Coco Nosara Villas, a newly built, family-focused boutique property in North Guiones, Nosara. Set on approximately 2/3 of an acre of lush, gated grounds, Coco Nosara offers a peaceful, minimalist setting for families and groups looking for a comfortable home base near Playa Guiones.

We are approximately a 10–15 minute walk to the famous Playa Guiones surf beach, including a brief 20–30 second stretch along Ruta 160. The entrance to Coco Nosara is directly across from Buen Ride E-Bike Rentals on Ruta 160.

THE PROPERTY

Coco Nosara is designed around a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere and a “perfectly imperfect” Nosara experience.

The property features:

Guests have exclusive use of their private villa and 550 sq ft covered private terrace, with space for outdoor dining and relaxing.

The pool, studio, and rancho are shared only with registered guests staying at the property, creating a quiet, boutique-style environment.

THE VILLA

This spacious 1,950 sq ft, single-story three-bedroom villa accommodates up to 6 guests and includes two full bathrooms, high ceilings, large windows, comfortable living spaces, and a 550 sq ft private covered terrace with space for outdoor dining and relaxing.

Natural materials, including teak and Guanacaste wood, are paired with a soft white palette to create a calm, comfortable and uncluttered environment.

The design is intentionally minimalist, focusing on comfort, functionality and family-friendly living.

The kitchen is intentionally very basic and designed specifically for short-term vacation guests rather than extensive cooking.

It is ideal for preparing breakfast, snacks and a light lunch. Most of our guests prepare breakfast and a light lunch at the villa and enjoy dinner at one of the excellent local restaurants in Nosara.

GUEST ACCESS & PRIVACY

Guests enjoy exclusive use of their private villa and 550 sq ft covered private terrace.

Access to the property is limited to registered guests only. Outside visitors are not permitted. This policy applies to the villas, pool, studio, rancho and all shared areas of the property.

The entire property is fully gated, and each villa has one designated parking space within the gated grounds.

PROPERTY & LOCATION

With the exception of our entrance, Coco Nosara is set back from the main road, Ruta 160, inland and surrounded by a mix of developed and undeveloped land, providing a peaceful, natural setting.

• Steep, unpaved driveway with an “original Nosara” feel — please drive and walk with care
• Entrance is directly across from Buen Ride E-Bike Rentals on Ruta 160
• The only entrance and exit is through the gated entrance on Ruta 160
• The entire property is fully gated

Nosara is a natural destination with dirt and unpaved roads. Road conditions can vary, particularly during the rainy season.

DRIVING & GETTING AROUND

A 4WD vehicle is recommended in Nosara, particularly during the rainy season and when traveling on the area’s dirt and less-developed roads. Local car rental companies in Nosara commonly offer 4WD vehicles.

The Coco Nosara driveway is steep and unpaved, so please drive and walk with care.

Golf carts are one of the most popular ways to get around Guiones during the dry season. Bicycles and e-bikes are also readily available locally.

Airport transfer recommendations are available — please message Carolyn for a referral.

Access to Coyol requires 4WD or arranged transportation.

POOL & COMMON AREAS

Our approximately 1,000 sq ft shared pool is large enough to comfortably swim laps while also offering a shallow section for younger children.

To maintain a peaceful environment for all guests:

• Quiet enjoyment only
• No parties
• No music or speakers in common areas
• Headphones required for personal audio
• No drinks in the pool
• Food and drinks should be enjoyed in your private villa or terrace
• Please do not leave personal belongings in common areas

SUSTAINABILITY & UTILITIES

Please help us conserve energy by turning off A/C, fans and lights when they are not in use.

Hot water is solar-heated and may take a moment to warm.

We provide high-speed fiber-optic internet, but occasional area-wide power and internet outages can occur. These are common in Nosara and are outside the property’s control.

NATURE & ENVIRONMENT

Coco Nosara is surrounded by tropical nature. You may see iguanas, birds and the occasional coati during your stay — all part of the Nosara experience.

Please keep doors and screens closed when possible to help minimize bugs.
