Just up-country to the North lies the Iao Valley, 4,000-acre, 10-mile-long hiker’s paradise, home to one of Maui's most recognizable landmarks, the 1,200-foot Iao Needle. To the West, is the Ma’alaea Harbor and the Maui Ocean Center, one of America’s best Aquariums. Beyond that, is the recovering Lahaina and the resort town of Kaanapali – where visitors are again welcome. The South offers the pristine sandy beaches of Kihei and Wailea, launch point for local dives and ocean cruises. For variety and economy, there little that matches the charm of Yonegan Central.

The flat was small but very clean and comfortable and it had everything you need for a short stay. The instructions for entering were well communicated from the host before our arrival and we hadn’t any problem. There is a small free parking outside.

It is a very basic, small room with a bathroom. Never met any host or employees but talked to manager on phone to check-in. Had good wifi.Neighborhood has a lot of noisy chickens. Liked that there is a refrigerator & microwave in room. Getting in and out of parking lot can be a little tricky as so many cars are coming and going in a tight space. Overall it worked out for us since not far from a lot of the places we wanted to see.
