We enjoyed staying at the family farm where we learned so much about their agriculture and animals. The room is separated under a beautiful chapel with views to the River Sarapiqui and it was beautiful
The family members are all super friendly, nature lovers and passionate to share their lifestyle and products. There is a lot of work and love and the farm reflects it very well
The shower in the cabin and the beautiful dogs are bonuses ;)

Villa Girasol ist ein Juwel. Das kleine Ferienhaus befindet sich an einem Hang innerhalb einer Finca und bietet einen traumhaften Blick auf den Sarapiquí-Fluss. Man ist für sich, einige Meter vom Hauptgebäude entfernt.
Die Möglichkeit, Frühstück, Mittag- und Abendessen zu bestellen, war uns zunächst nicht klar. Die Gastgeber lassen es einem offen, seine Wünsche zu äußern. Wir haben uns sehr gefreut, die Familie kennenzulernen; alle waren äußerst freundlich.
Wir haben sowohl zu Abend gegessen als auch gefrühstückt. Das costa-ricanische Essen war hervorragend und nach unseren Wünschen zubereitet. Wo findet man so etwas? Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung für all jene, die eine ruhige Unterkunft mit Vollausstattung suchen. Das Haus ist individuell gestaltet und zeugt von großer Kreativität und Geschmack.
Gefallen hat es uns alles. Nur als Anmerkung möchten wir darauf hinweisen, dass eine einfache aber relativ steile Treppe zum Haus führt.

Magnifique séjour au sein de la Villa Girasol situé à la ferme. Une vue exceptionnelle sur le Sarapiquí. Propriétaire et famille très sympathique qui nous ont fait visiter leur propriété, plantations de cacao, poivre, ananas, café … une des meilleures expériences de notre séjour. Déjeuner au top !

Rarement vu une vue pareille de ce logement, situé au dessus du Rio Sarapiqui, qui berce la nuit.
Le petit déjeuner est excellent et la famille adorable.
L’odeur d’égout permanente et le logement mériterait une porte fermant complètement, pour éviter les petites bêtes.
