The apartment itself was amazing. Our one night stay was enjoyable once we were in the apartment for the evening. The apartment was clean, spacious and as advertised.
What my family did not like is the neighborhood and surrounding area. The reviews given by others are either not real or they are paid to tell another story. The surrounding area is very sketch and if you're driving a car good luck with parking! The city of Catania needs more attention given to its residential area and town center (tourist area). My family and I were harrassed by an individual in the middle of Piazza Del Duomo while trying to enjoy our gelato.

Walking distance to the center, a min walk away from bakeries or a cafe for breakfast. Very comfortable room, big bathroom. Nice place to sit outside either to have breakfast or enjoy late evening.
