The homestay was clean, comfortable, and in a good location. It is a little bit away from the main town, so there is a bit of a walk, but you avoid a bit of the chaos, the homestay and grounds are beautiful. The host was really welcoming and friendly, she helped sort all of our day trips and our transfer to Medan for a reasonable price, and also made us a great breakfast.

A quiet and comfortable base in Berastagi for hiking up Mount Sibayak volcano. We stayed two nights here in a family room which was separate from the main house and had a mezzanine floor with a double bed and two single beds downstairs. The owner was very helpful, spoke good English and made us lovely breakfasts of pancakes or eggs and toast. The fresh fruit juice was delicious! The property is located up a quiet road within a lovely garden. You can walk to restaurants in the town or order takeaway to the house which we did one evening as it was raining heavily. The owner arranged our sunrise volcano hike for us. Our guide was very good and patient as my husband was really slow as he was photographing all the amazing nature. He also took us on a tour of other interesting sites in the local area including relaxing hot springs and really interesting traditional houses. It was a great day. We also arranged our onward travel to Medan through the owner. We would definitely recommend staying here if you visit Berastagi.

Very nice host helping us and giving nice suggestions for dining and tours. The kids really loved our little house, I guess the would rate it to the first place of all our accommodations in Indonesia.
Our trips to the volcano and also to lake toba were really great with the “house driver” Tikko. Fully recommend him!
Nothing to complain.

Petit hébergement idéalement situé à proximité du centre de Berastagi, mais au calme. Quartier tranquille sur les hauteurs. Super accueil de la part de la gérante. Très beau jardin.
