Girlan ist ein netter kleiner Ort, es gibt in Laufnähe 2 Cafes und ein sehr gutes Restaurant in einem Hotel; man ist schnell in Bozen und auch rasch Richtung Süden (Weinstrasse/Kalterer See) angebunden! Die Wohnung hat eine angenehme Größe, die Ausstattung passt!
Die Kirche wurde ja bereits erwähnt, diese liegt gleich nebenan und beginnt mit Glockenschlag um 6 Uhr!

Es gibt einen Fahrstuhl. In der Wohnung lagen bereits ein paar Infos zur Umgebung wie Buss- und Zugfahrplan.
Die Wohnung liegt direkt neben einer Kirche und die Läutet sehr laut im Viertelstundentakt. Zum Glück hörte es um 22 Uhr auf und fing um 6 Uhr wieder an. Um sieben Uhr morgens gab es dann ein Glockenkonzert.
