Central location, very friendly staff and very considerate co habitants and the caravan park

It was a well managed caravan park.
The wall mount air conditioning unit when in heating mode would run for a bit then turn off. Each time it did this it made a louse noise that woke us up. Only two pillows provided that were a bit thin.

Did the job as a quick overnight accom.
Off street parking next to cabin.
Prickly hosts on phone when asking about a late check-in (we arrived close to 6pm!). We were coming from Bowen, which is 7+ hr “drive time” and that’s not allowing for breaks or older couple needs! Meant we missed out on some sightseeing options while driving down, in order to appease their request for arriving as close to 5pm as possible Think they forget “without happy customers” there is no business! Understand it’s a small, couple run holiday park however not set up for late check-in or early departure, and they seem to micromanage this, which made us feel like kinda kids, as in a bit uncomfortable. They may have had bad experiences however that’s not our concern.
The typical DB cabin bed is toooo small for tall people, there’s no internet or smart tv considering the price and the next option bed/cabin was priced too excessively to justify, for a night.
