I was fortunate that it was school holidays, and Sanvi (11 years) was free to take me on "guided" walking tours of the surrounding fields and into the town.
I loved being included in the family activities and meals and enjoyed playing with the 18 month old baby.
I was very relaxed. I was looking for a peaceful location to take a breath and rest on my travels.
The whole family were very supportive of my needs.
The shower was HOT. Yay!!!
AND, there is a heat pump/ aircon unit in the bedroom. Wow!!
We went on a family trip to Bhaktapur Dunbar Square, which I enjoyed very much.
Overall, I felt safe and supported and included.
The only thing I might say is that in my country, I am accustomed to a softer bed. In Nepal, the beds are hard, and as I am in Nepal, I accept this.
