Beautiful place to stay close to the rainforest and tea plantations, nice view. The host is really friendly and made a nice dinner on request. We also booked the Sinharaja hike with him, which was really nice. Wake up at 06:30 for breakfast and leave at 07:00 for the hike, which starts at 5 min walk from the accomodation. Afterwards we could still take a shower in our room. The host also arranged a taxi to Udawalawa for us. Really recommend this place!

Great location in the midst of a paradise.
Super close to the entrance of the Sinharaja rainforest with knowledgeable guids. The hosts are also very helpful, welcoming and relaxt. I can nothing but recommend this place

Our stay at this accommodation was absolutely outstanding. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, and the food was prepared with great care and heart — every meal felt special and homemade with love. A particular highlight was Danushka, who turned our tour through the Sinharaja Rainforest into an unforgettable experience. His knowledge, kindness, and passion for nature made our visit truly memorable. We can warmly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic hospitality and a genuine connection to Sri Lanka’s natural beauty.
There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like — everything was perfect from start to finish.

We had a truly fantastic stay!
The host couple were incredibly kind, smiling, and welcoming, and they really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. From the very first moment, we felt welcome, and they were always ready to help in ways that made a real difference.
You can clearly feel that they genuinely care about their guests and about creating a safe and pleasant experience. We were given a wonderful guided tour of the UNESCO Rainforest by the male host, who spotted many fascinating animals — snakes, lizards, monkeys, birds, and more.
One night he even went into town just to get us some fruit.
We can only give our warmest recommendations and would very happily return.
