Spacious and comfortable for our group
There is a bit of a smell in the kitchen, the dishwasher hadn’t been run and there was rubbish in the lounge.

We didn't have breakfast. It was a treat staying in an old house. Typical of the era lovely lounge & billiard room superb kitchen & dining room, location to Four Square & eateries great. We were able to have 4 couples stay together which was fantastic.
We struck a very cold week & arrived late in the afternoon to an exceptionally cold house. Took ages for the heaters to warm such a huge house. Would suggest that heaters be already on for guests as we do for our guests in Taupo. Did not find the gym. One of ladies tripped on an unmarked step from the kitchen to the passage & fell on her knee & face.

It was great for our group.
Close to restaurants and cafes.
It was very regal with all the history to the house
Nothing all was fine

Good size venue for a group, nice and handy to St Clair beach - easy walk to good restaurants
A little tired, pillows on beds need replacing and a little vacuuming under the beds wouldnt go amiss
