Property was in excellent condition, spacious and clean. It was well situated for access to Helmsely, Rievaulx, Nunnington and the moors. Bedrooms were comfortable and the shower was fantasticly powerful! We had a wonderful stay as a couple with a 18month old.
It was a little difficult to find (we were at 8 Pottergate not 8 Pottergate Mews! It eould have been helpful to have directions and/or a picture of where the small turn off into rye court is), the serious critique I can have is that it would have been nice to have some basic cooking ingredients (just salt (which there was), pepper and cooking oil to be honest) to save having to buy a whole pack for our stay.

This cottage was very comfortable, clean and easy to live in. It had everything we needed. The location is perfect, it's within easy walking distance of shops, cafes etc

10/10 – Absolutely Fantastic Stay!
We had an amazing stay at this flat in Helmsley and couldn’t recommend it more highly. The property was spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained, making it feel welcoming from the moment we arrived. The host was exceptionally kind, communicative, and always helpful – nothing was too much trouble, which really made the stay special.
The location is perfect: just a short walk into the town centre with its quirky, quaint shops and wonderfully atmospheric pubs and bars. Having onsite parking was a huge bonus and made everything so easy.
There’s so much to do right on the doorstep, from scenic hiking trails to fascinating local attractions like Rievaulx Abbey and Helmsley Castle. It’s also an ideal base for exploring the Yorkshire Moors and even heading out to the coast.
An absolutely amazing place to stay and explore this beautiful part of the country – we would love to return! 🌟

It was spacious, light and well-appointed. Its location was wonderful (once I found it - the turn off Pottergate is not obvious!). The location was peaceful and still central. Having a clothes washer was a great bonus!
