A great comfortable base to explore a wonderful area.

This was our second stay here, and just like before we had a wonderful time exploring the area. The house is spacious, comfortable and well situated. The main bed was super comfy and the shower was hot and strong. The temp when we were there dropped below zero, but the house stayed warm.

The house needs a bit of TLC, with regards to the some of the small things. Like light bulbs, door handles and general fixtures.

The location was in walking distance to function center.

Old and Uninviting inside and out. It was a freezing cold weekend. Was messaged 1-2 days prior that Ducted heating was not working and small portable electric heaters were the only source to heat bedrooms. Very little Shower Wash in bottle, needs refilling prior to new guests arrival. Bath towels were old (thank goodness I brought my own) shower leaked water onto floor from underneath shower door, wardrobe handles and internal hanging rails loose and need attention, external front entry needs the “welcome mat” replaced. This was only accommodation available in Romsey.

Proximity to the region that we were visiting. Heaps of parking, which would be great if towing large gear and fairly secure.

Old home, rickety floors, old kitchen and bathroom, one toilet (not two, as stated), heating system works erratically. Also, why have a feature fireplace that doesn't work, would add some ambience.
