Clean and close to most of the places in the Thekkady. Very friendly staff, especially evening/night staff
Doors lacks sound proofing, so depending on how the other guests are, you might wake up early if there is a lot of noise in the corridor.
Bathrooms could need a deep clean, had a strange smell of sewage in the bathroom.

Staff were very nice and friendly, location was close to the market
The building was very old and everything was old fashioned, electricity kept turning off all the time, shower was broken, breakfast was limited, I didn't enjoy my stay there
