Not recommended if you actually sleep

The accommodation was well appointed with basic crockery, a kitchen hotplate (a rare find in Japanese accommodation) a washing machine, private bathroom and comfortable mattresses rather than shikibouton.

Cleaning left a lot to be desired with gunk in corners and a urine smell coming from the toilet. The cupboards were filled with items for restocking, open one kitchen cupboard and find slippers and toothbrushes falling out, another filled with cleaning supplies. In the main cupboard we found an old suitcase and a large cardboard box with towels and cloths. The enza seats were flattened one with a spring sticking out which my partner found out the hard way. The worst part about our stay was the noise! ALL night EVERY night was constant banging around of the people in the upstairs room, im talking impossible to sleep even with noise cancelling headphones and music trying to drown out the noise. My youngest was in tear because she was so tired and we all ended up so grumpy. We were all so tired that it ruined our time in Osaka and when we got to Nagano all we wanted to do was sleep. The host stated it was all Japanese housing being wood with low insulating properties but we have travelled through Japan from Hokkaido to Kyoto and not experienced anything like this so far. We were offered an apology but no compensation for our poor experience

A gem!

A convenient place with everything nearby. The bedroom looks amazing and is really comfy. Such a great place!

The walls are pretty thin and we could hear people above pretty loud. But fortunately that didn't disturb us too often.
