Do not stay here- ants, cockroaches, rats and unprofessional host

Nothing.

The property was covered in ants and cockroaches. We had to clean the property on arrival before cooking. There were rats around the building, and we saw them everyday upon entry. This was a residential area, and because we were tourists we were stared at everyday entering and leaving. Also if your out of the apartment after 11/12 you have to knock on the door to get security to let you into the building- this often involves waking them up which they do not appreciate and they let you know this. The fingerprint entry broke during our stay- we ended up locked out of the apartment twice during our stay. The host apologised about this but seemed to find it funny and made a joke about it on our departure. The bathroom opens into the kitchen and is essentially just a wet room- because of this it never properly dried and there was a continuous damp smell. The curtains in the bedroom are like sheets and it is essentially like sleeping with no curtains. The windows/ doors are so thin you can hear all the traffic/ interactions on the street below- there is also a hole in the window to allow some sort of pipe through. It is not in a good location- the only thing it’s close to is the hospital, which is why we chose it as we were on medical placement. On arrival we were shown to the apartment by someone called Kay- she was in a rush to show us the apartment, collect money and leave. She didn’t explain any of the amenities of the apartment I.e what to do with rubbish etc. Also she has written one of the reviews for this apartment so disregard it as it’s clearly a fake review!

Enjoy my stay a lot.

The accommodation is very beautiful, clean, quiet and spacious. It’s quite central and closed to everything, especially just cross the road 2 mins and you can reach UMP. The Host is very gentle, friendly and professional. Thank you for your good service!
