Although we had some major hiccups during our first night at the resort, the best thing about Sunday Alaya Jim Corbett was the quality of the food and a special mention to head chef SANJU BISHT. He not only served us with amazing food but also went completely above and beyond to make sure the overall service at the resort was excellent and our stay was comfortable from the second day onwards. He has mastered making 7 different types of chutney, which is an absolute must-try! His proactive hospitality truly rescued our family trip.
Our first day was an incredibly frustrating experience that fell entirely short of basic hospitality and safety standards, especially considering we paid 58K INR for 4 rooms.

We were shifted to much better rooms on day 2 and there were no issues there. All my ratings are related to Day 2 rooms and not Day 1 which was a nightmare.
While Chef SANJU BISHT's stellar service turned things completely around on Day 2 making the stay worthy, management needs to immediately address these severe infrastructure, housekeeping, and maintenance failures.
