Great location and communication with host

The best thing about this apartment was the location. Being just a few blocks from Bologna Centrale station made arriving and leaving by train incredibly convenient. It’s also within walking distance to the historic center, only about 15 minutes or so. The room itself was very clean, pleasant, and had good space. We also appreciated having a private bathroom. Communication with the host was great; they were very approachable and quick to respond, so checking in and out was seamless. Overall, though, it was perfect for our needs!

The only downsides were that the common area was very small and not very well-equipped, and the neighborhood around the station felt slightly unsafe at night, though we didn’t have any problems.

We paid over €1000+ for 3 nights, expecting basic standards such as cleanliness, functional amenities, privacy, and proper service, none of which were delivered. The main issues we experienced are as follows: • The property was not cleaned at all during our stay, despite the listing stating daily cleaning service. • The bedsheets were dirty upon arrival, with visible food stains. • There were no bathroom towels available, despite requesting them in the morning. The issue was not resolved at all. • The hairdryer was defective and not functional. • One of the beds was unstable and unsafe to use. • The hangers were broken, making it impossible to use basic room facilities. • The bathroom only had 2 toilet paper rolls, one of which had already been used. • There was significant noise from neighboring rooms, as the property appears to consist of multiple rooms located very close to each other, which is not clearly disclosed in the listing. • Despite the claim of soundproof rooms, we could hear everything, including loud shouting late at night, making it impossible to rest. • Communication with the host was extremely difficult, as there was no effective way to communicate in English. It is important to note that this was a business trip to Bolonia, and we chose this property expecting privacy and a quiet environment. Due to the noise and lack of soundproofing, we were unable to rest properly and perform our professional obligations. Despite our attempts to communicate and resolve these issues, there was no meaningful response or solution. We believe the property does not meet basic hospitality standards and does not correspond to its advertised description, making the charge unjustified.

Camera come in foto. Nella norma, nulla di eccezionale. Posizione ottima, vicino la stazione e comoda per raggiungere il centro.

Tra i servizi compare l’asciugacapelli, ma si è spento praticamente dopo 1 min di utilizzo perché surriscaldato. Dopo un po di insistenza, finalmente l’host ci ha procurato un nuovo mini phon.
