We stayed at Villa Baccarat for 5 nights with our multi-generational family of seven (5 adults and 2 children) and had a fantastic experience.
The villa is beautiful and furnished to a high standard throughout. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax, and the pool was a great size with comfortable sun loungers and several lovely seating areas around the property.
We had excellent support from Michael, who was always available via WhatsApp to help with any questions, taxi bookings, or excursion arrangements. His assistance made our stay completely stress-free.
The villa was perfect for a family holiday and provided everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We would definitely recommend it and would happily return in the future. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Breakfast was fairly basic but adequate. We very much enjoyed the traditional mint tea and local bread. Omelettes cooked to order were great to help fill us up until lunch as the supermarket and medina is about a 15 minute drive away. Some items were missing on some days which was a shame but overall we were happy.
You have to be careful as the main bedroom shower floods and there is a drainy smell which comes and goes.

La villa Baccarat est une très belle demeure spacieuse et bien agencée.
À notre arrivée, la cuisine était dans un état décevant – sale et mal rangée – ce qui nous a donné l'impression d'arriver dans un lieu où quelqu'un habite encore plutôt que dans une maison préparée pour des vacanciers. Nous avons également remarqué une odeur de litière de chat non fraîche.
Le chat était constamment dans la maison contrairement à ce qu'on pensait et notre fils est allergique. Cela a créé une tension permanente durant le séjour.
L'architecture avec patio central oblige à fermer les portes des chambres pour le froid. Avec un enfant en bas âge, impossible de l'entendre appeler la nuit, obligeant l'un de nous à dormir avec lui – peu confortable en vacances.
Les petits déjeuners ne sont servis qu'à partir de 9 heures – très contraignant pour les activités matinales.
Le point le plus frustrant : une chambre était en travaux durant tout notre séjour. La villa a été constamment envahie par des ouvriers, peintres, jardiniers et poseurs de tapis. Impossible de se baigner tranquillement à la piscine ou de se reposer. Nous nous sentions presque comme des intrus alors que nous avions loué cette villa au prix fort.
