Excellent localisation, good apartment standard, friendly and communicative owner
Not the drawback itelf, just 2 things to keep in mind:
- owner does not speak English, but despite this, communication was clear through translator - really nothing to worry about (and via wechat it wasnt deal at all)
- there was an issue when paying via alichat or card - I guess it becouse of limitations for foreign tourists using western cards. Finally we made cash withdrawal from the bank (on 2nd attempt, as not all banks service visa/mastercard) and it solve d the problem but there was little stress and the beggining. Owner however was understanding and helpful but I suggest for others to have cash preparaed in advance just in case of emergency!

The location was fantastic! Really convenient for East Nanjing Road, people’s park & the metro.
The hallways of the building were a tired (but nothing to do with the owner).

The apartment was great and the host was very responsive. It was a good size for a few nights, had all the extras we needed, like converter plugs!
Excellent location, right next to the pedestrian area and restaurants.
This part is about the building and communal area, not the apartment unit!
It's a shared building with a hotel, apartments and offices.
The floor we were on stank of stale cigarettes, the carpet was filthy and the corridor was outright dirty.
The lifts took forever. The smell of smoke went into the apartment.
