We liked the security of the property, general building maintenance, the close proximity to Rue Montorgueil pedestrian street and all of the activity! Plus we were close to two metro stations. The apartment was clean! We have stayed in many Paris apartments over the years and cleanliness is not always as good as it could be so we were thrilled with the cleanliness of the Loft! The apartment also had many amenities such as a clothes washer, dish washer, AIR CONDITIONING which was a life saver due to the August heat, a kitchen with everything needed for coffee, and cooking and plenty of bath towels, and bed sheets. The Loft had beautiful wood cabinets, staircase and flooring and was nicely decorated. The host and our greeter were very nice and responsive to our questions during our stay.
Because the bedroom and bathroom were upstairs you had to step over the ceiling beams to get into those rooms; if you had any mobility issues this might have caused some issues for accessing these areas. After a hot day the rooms upstairs were very warm and it took some time to cool them to a comfortable temperature for sleeping. Would have liked a suitcase holder for use instead of using one of the chairs. To us these were minor inconveniences and part of the apartment’s charm.
