The residential complex is quite old; it is rather dark at night, and the streetlights are dim. However, it is centrally located right on West Nanjing Road, making it very convenient for visiting tourist attractions.
The stairs are quite steep, and the room isn't big enough—it's not suitable for six people.

Great location, about 50 yards from a lovely evening spot full of bars and cafés with lots of people out at night enjoying the nightlife. Yet tucked away in an alleyway of local houses. excellent Transport links once you’ve worked out the local buses, which are easy to use with the Alipay app and very cheap. Great access to the Bund and downtown Shanghai, with some other attractions easily walkable. D property owners were very accessible by WhatsApp and very quick to respond to any questions and keen to help.

Good location with good aircon. That’s it.
Very old building with dirty hallways. We were asked what time we were arriving and we told them between 1-2pm. They said ‘no problem’.
Upon arrival, the apartment was filthy. The cleaners had not been. We were then told check-in is a 3pm. Well why tell us that between 1-2pm is ok.
The property is poorly maintained. The photos however disguise this. Bathroom cupboard doors were falling off. The show drain was blocked. No washing detergent for the washing machine or dishes. They supply dishwasher machine powder l, but there is no dishwasher!!!
The shower flooded with mould showing from this being an ongoing issue.
Found used cotton buds even after the clearness.
Was offered ¥500 back on my Alipay, but now I can’t move it off Alipay to my Australian credit card.
Alipay was terrible to use. We use booking.com for its secure payment, but are then forced onto Alipay!!!
Overall, not happy. Oh and the beds are like concrete, even compared to other places we have staying in (8 different hotels across China)
There are also no managers onsite. All your communication is through What’s App so you never talk to anyone face to face!!!
