One of the best homestays you can find anywhere. Dnyaneshwar who takes care of the property was very courteous and helped us settle down comfortably. We stayed 5 nights and we're completely at home. The kitchen, the hall, the bedrooms, were all just perfect for us a family of 5 staying there. The stay made our Kolhapur trip extra special and we really enjoyed some much needed family time together, which we generally miss out in our daily routine back home in Bombay. The property is just walking distance from the New Palace and we (me and my brother) are very sure we heard Peacocks early in the morning!! Would have loved it if we had a house like this growing up - would have been real fun!! Last but not the least would like to say that we made some Awesome family memories on this visit and that we would definitely like to stay here again the next time we're in Kolhapur !! Untill then !!
(i) The stairs.....its too much to climb up and down all the time especially after a full meal ;)
(ii) water filter is something odd, it wastes a lot of water;
(iii) Could not figure out how to use the geyser efficiently, had to wait a very long time for hot water to run.
One Suggestion: if a scooter can be kept in the premises as it would be very convenient to quickly run errands like bread mil eggs,etc..to get dinner..we had to take out the car!!
Otherwise no complaints....only praises!!

Giriraj Homestay made my stay truly memorable. Dnyanesh has maintained the property exceptionally well, and I really loved it.
The rooms were spacious, with great amenities and convenient car parking. Everything was excellent and well organized.
Special thanks to Dnyanesh for being so calm, polite, highly professional, and well-mannered throughout my stay.
I extremely enjoyed my stay at Giriraj Homestay and would highly recommend it.

Location is good
Deep cleaning of carpets is required. Both bathrooms should have hot water provision. Toilet should be cleaner and bad smell of drainage lines going nearby should be avoided.
