Staff so friendly Maggie on reception couldn't do enough....and the spacious rooms...food exceptional..and off course the pinnacle was the whisky..

Absolutely loved the old world charm maintained by the new owners. Room was tastefully decorated and bed was extremely comfortable. It was perfect for a relaxing break, we particularly enjoyed the roaring fire on a wet afternoon. Staff were friendly, particularly James behind the bar, and the lovely girl on breakfast duty on our first morning, food was delicious.

Breakfast on our second morning was a bit unorganised, it wasn’t busy, but there was no one to show us to our table and I had to ask twice for toast, not a major problem. Television WiFi connection can be intermittent.

The staff were very welcoming. We were given charming rooms close to each other and very close to the lift, as we had requested. Our rooms were very comfortable and with lovely views of the harbour. The hotel was easy to find being on the main road, but is in a quiet village so no disturbing noise at night. Parking was no problem with a spacious car park just across the road from the hotel. We had good food in the evening bar/restaurant and an excellent breakfast in the morning. Altogether, a delightful stay and a hotel to which we would like to return.

I have no ideas for this section. As far as we are concerned, everything was done to make sure our stay was as pleasent and easy as possible.
