I love the view and the piece in that place and the staff very friendly even you far away you have everything they dont even take 5min to answer and help me

The only bad thing is that they should put different type of door because the doors does not close completely even close a lot of insect come in

Of every hotel, hostel, homestay, campsite, Airbnb and guesthouse over 6 continents and 10 years of travelling, at every price bracket, official rating and recommendation this is by far the BEST place i have ever stayed. We felt genuinely heartbroken to leave here. Location: I messaged the hotel in advance and they gave us a number of a brilliant taxi driver who os very familiar with this hotel, which I’d strongly recommend to other travellers as this definitely isn’t easy to find. It was a very reasonable price from Chiang Mai, and the same driver took us back. This place is definitely off the classic tourist trail, but my god is it worth it. We sat and stared at the view for hours on end. Please note this place is very secluded, there are no shops or towns close by, but for us that was the beauty of it. We completely switched off from the outside world. Amenities: Pool is gorgeous, the kitchenette is well stocked to make tea and coffee. We brought some of our own food to make lunches and there was plenty enough equipment (pots, pans, fridge, chopping boards, table wear etc). You definitely don’t need to bring food as they have a huge menu and excellent service but we just love to cook. The whole place is immaculate. Staff: Couldn’t fault them at all, attentive if we ever needed something, but other than that totally left us alone. Incredibly polite and kind. Misc. We were really shocked at the lack of bugs and insects. We came very well prepared with lots of deet but didn’t use it once. Not sure if it’s the season but i was bitten a fair few times in koh samui and not once in the middle of the jungle 😂

This place is perfection. I couldn’t find a single fault.

Las vistas y dormitorio

Het uitzicht was uiteraard geweldig! We hebben een mooie zonsondergang gezien en hebben echt genoten in het zwembad. De pooltafel is een echte meerwaarde alsook die muziekbox die we mochten gebruiken. Het eten werd gebracht op een zelf gekozen tijdstip en was lekker en uitgebreid.

De accommodatie was best onhygiënisch. Wij hebben er zo hard naar uitgekeken, en ik was zo teleurgesteld dat ik heb moeten wenen. We hadden oorspronkelijk een andere villa geboekt, met het ronde zwembad, maar door renovaties kregen we een ‘upgrade’. Dit bleek echter niet helemaal het geval te zijn -tenzij onze eerdere geboekte villa nog erger was. Er waren overal insecten, enerzijds logisch omdat je in de jungle zit, maar anderzijds was wel heel extreem. Doordat de deuren niet volledig dicht gingen konden al de beesten binnen. Een netje boven het bed had al veel kunnen helpen. Vervolgens was het best wel vies. De gootsteen was niet gekuist, de douche niet, … tot slot konden wij ook geen warm bad nemen, omdat de gasketel dit niet aankon. Je kon slechts 3min warm water krijgen, en daarna werd het weer koud. De gasbrander stond ook binnen, waardoor de hele kamer naar gas rook. Het bad was echt prachtig, maar we hebben het uiteindelijk moeten vullen met de waterkoker. opzich was het verblijf wel oké, maar het wordt geadverteerd als villa, terwijl het buiten het prachtige uitzicht meer weg heeft van een hostel waar erg weinig hygiëne zijn. Conclusie: wij vonden het uitzicht heel veel goedmaken, maar we willen andere wel waarschuwen voor wat ze aantreffen. Zie het als een survival verblijf met een luxe uitzicht. De weg er naartoe is ook echt geen lachertje, dus je moet al met een privetaxi komen. In het regenseizoen mag je van chiang mai - dit verblijf en daarna door naar Pai 7000/8000 bath verwachten. Samen met de prijs van het verblijf zelf, is het kostenplaatje wel echt heel groot in verhouding van de ‘luxe’ die we ervoor terug kregen. Naar westerste normen, zou dit zelfs geen hotel mogen zijn.
