We had an absolutely fantastic stay! This is truly a gem in Tara National Park.
The House & View: The highlight of the property is the breathtaking, unforgettable view over the valley. The cabin itself is brand new, spotlessly clean, and decorated with great taste — the custom wooden furniture with hand-painted details is a work of art! The kitchen is compact but extremely functional and fully equipped with new appliances and cookware. We also really appreciated the mosquito net on the front door, which allowed us to leave the door wide open for fresh mountain air.
Outdoor Space & BBQ: Fantastic outdoor amenities! There are two separate seating areas (perfect for families or groups), sun loungers, and an outdoor drying rack. The covered BBQ area is exceptionally well thought out — you can grill comfortably in any weather. There is a large dining table and two hammocks where we watched stunning sunsets.
Pet-friendly: The large yard is fully fenced, which was amazing for our dog to run around safely and freely.
Location & Access: Easy access is a huge advantage here, as many houses in Tara are located off rough dirt roads. This cabin is directly off the main paved road leading to Lake Zaovine, making it completely accessible for any type of car. Parking on-site is spacious and convenient. All the main viewpoints are within a 30–40 minute drive. Tip for travelers: Supermarkets are a bit far, so it’s best to stock up on groceries before arriving.
The Hosts: Vladimir is an exceptional host! His English is fluent, communication was flawless, and he sent very detailed instructions the day before our arrival and met us on the road. The hospitality was heartwarming — he even treated us to delicious homemade pancakes with plum jam.
We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to everyone!

Fantastic little cottage situated in a beautiful position overlooking the valley. Everything supplied in the kitchen you could possibly need including scissors which are so handy!
Susa Wass lovely and helpful and we orders a home made apple pie from Nena which was amazing.
Sucks also made us pancakes which were divine. It was the perfect staycation.

The house is smaller but extremely functional. The location and view are beautiful. The hosts are infromative and friendly, we got all the advice that we needed. The kitchen is equipped with all you need, thr bathroom as well. The beds are comfortable and the wi-fi works extremely good
It would be cool to have some mosquito nets in the bedroom to prevent insects (and cats 😀) to come inside during the night. It can get hot in the room without the windows open...
