Carnero Hills offered an exceptional stay that perfectly balanced high-end, modern luxury with the raw, breathtaking beauty of Bocas del Toro.
* Modern & Cozy Accommodation: The wooden bungalows are brand new, wonderfully cozy, and packed with modern conveniences. Having reliable AC, a great TV, and a fully equipped kitchen made it feel like a home away from home.
* The Perfect Location: It hits the absolute sweet spot for location. It feels delightfully secluded and peaceful—like you are miles away from everything—yet it remains close enough to easily access the buzzing energy of downtown Bocas whenever you want.
* Unmatched Nature & Wildlife: Nestled inside a stunning tropical garden with an astonishing variety of plant life. The nightly symphony of nature sounds was unforgettable, and spotting a sloth on the property was an absolute highlight.
* Outstanding Hospitality: The host was wonderfully warm and welcoming, taking care of us right from the start by meeting us at the pier and carrying our luggage.
There was genuinely nothing to complain about—an absolute 10/10 experience that we would rebook in a heartbeat.

Het verblijf ligt echt midden in de jungle, heel rustig en is echt heel mooi. De host is erg behulpzaam en stuurde nog wat lokale tips die ook erg goed zijn bevallen. Het ligt wat verder weg van al het vertier en de restaurants dus je zult wel wat vaker een taxi boot moeten bestellen, maar die kwamen heel erg snel.
Er is niet heel veel te doen op het eiland zelf en na zonsondergang is het niet zo prettig om terug te lopen naar de kamer vanwege de jungle. Dat is niet echt een minpunt, maar wel iets om rekening mee te houden. Het strand is dichtbij maar heeft geen mogelijkheden anders dan er een beetje te lopen. Zwemmen kan maar een heel klein beetje zand.

It is amazing! Deep in the nature very close to the beach and water taxi dock.
Since it is deep in the jungle at night the walk was a little interesting for us. It’s nothing crazy tho. Just good to know before coming.
