The apartment was well appointed, spacious and very grand in its details. It was in a very old, solid, historic building that was painstakingly restored to modern standards with modern amenities. The linens, upholstery and window treatments were all custom-made. The living/dining area was in a turret along of the city wall, which were at least a half-meter thick---it was something out of a fairy tale. The bedroom was dark and restful despite being situated in the Old City, with bars, cafes and restaurants along Uus. The location suffice to say, was excellent---it was just in the Old City entering via the gate at Fat Margaret, the Maritime Museum---there were narrow sidewalks and cobblestone streets to drag a roller suitcase, but not for very long. It is also walkable from the cruise terminal. The views out of the living/dining area of the cruise port were unparalleled! The balcony was off the kitchen and afforded a great view as well. You felt like royalty sipping coffee out there.
If I were to ding CC for something it would be the slow drain in the shower. We had to skip showering every other day to avoid aggravating a bad situation. We did contact the host about it right away, but he was going out of town and said he would arrange maintenace after our departure. At that price point, it should have been acted upon immediately. This was not a budget accommodation. There was also an espresso machine and a coffeemaker but no coffee, loose black tea but no teaball, and other things that while not problems, were annoyances for the price point. Just know before you go.

Amazingly beautiful and well appointed place.
The stairs were a bit of a problem in lugging three suitcases up. But the apartment made it worth it.

Third is an amazing historic location. This is the real thing.
There is a museum of the walls and towers and it shows all the towers including this one. You are actually staying in it.
Great views. Great location.
We were a family of 4 and it worked. This is a dream apartment.
I didn't mind, but be aware that being on top of a tower comes with stairs.
