Plum Cottage exceeded all my expectations. The cottage is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, cosy and incredibly peaceful, with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The location is perfect for exploring Wells, Glastonbury, Bruton and the surrounding countryside.
What really made my stay exceptional was Rom’s hospitality. Communication was excellent from the moment I booked, he was always happy to help with recommendations and local advice, and he genuinely cared about making sure I had a wonderful stay. After I returned very late from a local festival because of transport delays, he kindly allowed me a late check-out, which I greatly appreciated. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality these days. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and will happily recommend Plum Cottage to friends and family.
Absolutely nothing. My stay was faultless. The only minor difficulty was that it was very hard to get an Uber back from the festival late at night, but that was completely outside the host’s control and certainly not a reflection of the property.

Location was wonderful, cottage was homely with decent facilities. All interactions with the owners was top class.
I have to be really picky here because this was near perfect. Only two items were annoying - the ironing board was tiny and difficult to use, only one saucepan for cooking with. Did either of these distract from the stay…..NO

It’s such a cute little home.. cosy and a great little get away..
Only thing is that the property is next to a road.. however it’s so quiet and cats hardly pass.
The bed was comfy, nice and peaceful locations..
