The property was exceptional, easily one of the best we've ever stayed in. Comfortable, clean, very well equipped, some really special touches added by the host. The balcony has a wonderful view of the hills to the right, beautiful at night and to the left you can make out the Swiss railway station and even catch a glimpse of the Bernina Express when it's in the station! The Italian and Swiss stations are within 5 minutes walk and lovely Old Town is just a few more in the other direction. There's a great coffee machine, fully prepped and at the touch of a button delivering fresh ground coffee every morning, the host even provides biscuits and treats to accompany it!

We originally picked this place solely for its proximity to catch the Bernina Express, but Tirano turned out to be a charming, beautiful town to explore—and our stay made the entire experience even better.
We were a family of 8 and booked both a 1BHK and a studio. We initially thought they might be on separate properties, but to our pleasant surprise, both units were on the same floor in a single flat converted into a homestay. It was extremely clean, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we needed: a modern modular kitchen, dining space, clean bathrooms, a washing machine, and even a vacuum cleaner. The beds were super comfortable, and the balcony offered an extraordinary view of the surrounding mountains—just 1 km from the Swiss border and a short 5-minute walk to the Tirano train station.
What truly elevated our stay was our host, Silvio. He went above and beyond, making us feel extra special by generously providing everything we need for our stay - Incl bread, jam, pasta, and sauce so we could prepare our own meals if needed. This level of thoughtfulness made us feel right at home. I have never experienced hospitality like this before, and it created memories we will never forget.
Would I come back? Absolutely. Even if just to stay at this property again!
