The location was perfect for spending a long weekend at the Literature Festival, and is also well located for restaurants, shops, etc.
Other things we liked:
Very helpful hostess
Everything spotlessly clean
Well-equipped kitchen
Very comfortable bed
There were only a coffee table and "comfy chairs" indoors so, if I had cooked a banquet in the lovely kitchen, there would have been nowhere to eat it except out on the patio. (We didn't want to eat more than toast on the spotless cream-coloured furniture, so lifted the garden table and chairs indoors.)
We found the rugs on the shiny wooden floor a slip and trip hazard, although this may not be a problem for younger people. Similarly, we would have appreciated a non-slip mat in the shower.
