Mary our host was very welcoming & hospitable. She welcomed us into her home & shared her historical & local knowledge. Little extras like putting our wet laundry in her drier were greatly appreciated. The sunset, views across the firth of Thames, the starry sky & bush were treasures

As mature, bikepacking cyclists, it was a challenging climb up from sea level at the end of the day. But the views & welcome made up for it.

The cabin was larger than expected. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable. It had everything that I needed for my overnight stay with my dog. The owner was very helpful and welcoming.

The location is great with nice views, big bathroom just a short way from the cabin with a bath.

Bed is very soft. But didn’t bother me for one night any longer could be a problem.
