The location of the apartment is excellent, and a 5 minute walk from the tube/train station. There are lots of restaurants and bars close to the accommodation with a convenience store close by. The hosts were always on hand and reaching out to ensure we had everything we need. We will have no hesitation in booking with them again when we are next in London.
The only thing I can suggest is the warmth in the room. There are plenty of fans but naturally in the warm months it can only do so much. An air con unit would be the only thing I can suggest to make this a 10/10 stay.

Excellent location, just as advertised. Right on busy street, so some noise but not bad.
Design of opening window meant it swung out across pavement, nearly hit a passer-by!
Bedside lamps didn't work, rechargeable but still didn't charge.
One of the column fan heater/coolers didn't work.

The kitchen and the bathroom are fine. The location (close to metro and local shops and nice restaurants) is nice. The owners were helpful and quickly solved, what they could solve.
This is cost effective accommodation. But there are couple of things to consider:
1. The flat is on street level, door opening literally on the walk way
2. There is no view from the flat. Windows are all painted white so that nothing can be seen (though light comes through)
3. You cannot keep the high level window open, as it causes significant threat to walkers. Nor can you keep the door open, as everyone can see directly in to your room and anyone could enter the room.
So, if you are happy with those limitations, then this might be your place. But not during heat wave.
