The property is situated at the rear of the Old Post Office cafe and is cleverly designed and packs a lot of features into the available space. It was spotlessly clean and decorated to a high standard. The kitchen is well designed and equipped with a breakfast bar that seats two. There is a small lounge area with a sofa and a flat screen TV that can be swiveled for bedtime viewing. The bathroom has a spacious shower cubicle. Outside, there is a small garden with bistro table and chairs and a gate that leads to the cafe which serves a fine variety of breakfast and lunchtime food and is home to Bob the Dog who keeps a careful eye on proceedings. There is a car park space adjacent to the property and although the access road is narrow, we had no problems maneuvering our SUV in and out. We stayed during a heatwave and we were able to ventilate the property satisfactorily at night and the owners had supplied a powerful fan.
Woodchurch is the quintessential Kent village and this characterful property is a short walk from the village green and the windmill. This is the perfect property for immersing one's self in village life, yet the towns of Ashford, Tinterden and Rye are all short drives away.

Everything! Absolutely everything provided and working and the hosts were lovely (and Bob the dog made me laugh). And the free parking just down the lane was a big help.

This cottage provided a lovely cozy experience. It’s newly decorated, very clean and in a great location in Woodchurch near the pubs and coffee shop. Nice size bed and kitchen with everything you need. The coffee was a nice surprise and delicious. The lounge area was nice and the heating system was great at keeping out the cold air and keeping us warm at night.
Although we were provided an adequate amount of pillows they lacked in thickness which limited the comfort. We found the bathroom to be quite difficult to move around due to lack of space and limited area to store toiletries. We would have loved to be provided with a cupboard to store clothes so we could have unpacked and felt more comfortable. Instructions to adjust the temperature of the heating system would have also been helpful.
