Vey close to shopping, food, historic sites. Really appreciate the closeness to what we wanted to visit.
Not use to small living spaces, the street, small and crowded area, but the Hanok was in an ideal closeness to what I mentioned above. It was very quaint, quiet neighborhood.

Location was great, courtyard looked nice and the bed and pillows were good! Room was heated with Korean floor heating which we really loved. Modern TV, enough space for two suitcases. Supermarkt Harmony Mart was a 10-15 minute walk (recommended for some fresh yoghurts, fruit, snacks).
Bathroom and toilet are in a separate part that is really cold compared to the room where you're bed is in. The towels were big but did not dry (hence you could not dry yourself properly as well). Luckily, there was a hair dryer. 😆 Breakfast should not be called breakfast; you get a a sandwich from Paris Baguette, apple juice and milk (in a juice box 🧃). The communal kitchen is not really a kitchen; there is only a water dispenser (hot and cold) and a fridge, not an option to actually cook an egg, use an oven or so. The communication with the owner was difficult. In general, the messages were friendly, but being in touch about questions and/of inquiries did go smooth; we stayed 5 nights and asked in advance whether we could have plain bread instead of sandwiches (since I am vegetarian and meat is usually part of every meal), and then they said that I had to cancel my booking? Later on, they offered some plain bread which was kind. But then the day after we got meat sandwiches, and 1 day we did not even get breakfast. We also had a towel issue, since we did not even get enough towels so we messaged them in the afternoon, but had to wait for a response until somewhere the next day. Before travelling to the accommodation I asked for some recommendations and information, the host never responded to this. After our stay, the host admitted that they have let us down, whilst we didn't overasked them and always were polite. 😢 So please know, the bedroom looks lovely and the neighborhood is great, but there are some downsides to this stay!
