Great location right on the beach. There is another location of the same name showing on Google Maps, inland from The Beach Club, but that one is not correct. This is the only Beach Club, and it is on the beach! There is currently only one room available to rent, but it does make it feel like you have the place to yourself. Very friendly, helpful staff. Great food and bar, and a lovely place to chill for (in our case) a few days. It's about 30 mins walk into the centre of the town.
This is a very simple Sri Lankan set up in a very Sri Lankan area, not spoiled by mass tourism, so be prepared for that. As has been mentioned in other reviews, there is a train line directly behind the property. You hear and feel the trains when they pass, from early morning until late at night, but we expected that, and it didn't bother us at all.

De ligging was lekker aant strand, het bed was goed het restaurantje was goed en de vriendelijke mensen ze willen je met alles helpen.
Het was er alleen niet echt schoon zeker de douche kraan, wastafelkraan, deurklinken en net achter de villa denderde een trein.
