Large double room in Portsmouth - Mayhall Rd

I loved everything, the neighborhood was really amazing and quite and it was close to everything

Creaking stairs but everything was amazing

The property is on a quiet street in a fairly quiet area of Portsmouth. It is close to amenities including Starbucks and Lidl and bus stop and restaurants. The room is painted nice bright and white, with fairly good quality carpet, and places to keep things. It has a nice big window with privacy curtain and curtains were enough to keep room dark even when light outside. The kitchen is equipped well, and bathroom is big. It was easy to get in and out and keep my room secure.

There was one person staying in the living area with a duvet that was either on the phone all the time or had the tv on loud from when I arrived at 4pm until around midnight, when they then disappeared. It was like it was only there room and I had to walk passed them every time I went to the toilet or kitchen. The bed linen was clean with no signs of being unclean but it felt like the pillows and duvet, possibly also the mattress needed a deeper clean, it was noticeably enough to feel I’d have to bring my own duvet or sleeping bag in order to be able to stay again as didn’t feel comfortable sleeping. The walls are also fairly thin as I could easily hear if anyone was talking or had their tv on including when a family got up at 5am to get their child cereal. Anything above whisper is audible.

We always stay here, quiet and nice place to stay. Easy access with keypads, so much better than a key. Always clean and tidy when we arrive.

The parking, but okay if you are in luck to find a space on the same road.
