Kids loved the TV in the room! we really appreciated the Cleanliness and effort, thank you so much to the team, this really makes it a home from home and parents can just relaaax...
Immediate feeling of home as we arrived, parking easy and ample outside and connection to the owners through their beautiful garden and brilliant utility area - so well planned for a busy family.
Kitchen has everything you need and we were able to trial an air frier. Local shop in Larkhill was a pleasant experience and had everything needed for our first supper. Accidentally drove to the barracks of course (very sweetly) directed me to the public NISA store. Spacious so we all could have a quiet corner to rest in. Dining room was used and useful as a separate area to relax/play games, from the lounge. We brought an inflatable mattress which was placed in the lounge area giving us separate sleeping during the recent heatwave. There was a fan but we also brought one which helped at night. We saw red kites and humming bird moths - very special. Thank you for the thoughtful additions like the night lights, toilet paper, dishwasher tabs. Please tell guests about the info file to read upon arrival - this was really helpful to understand a few things about the house, like not moving the shower screen and the boost function for hot water after two people have used the shower. Do use the local cafe - I walked from Stonehenge and rested there with a tasty Halloumi salad and cuppa. Stonehenge really is a walk away on a mainly gravel track unused by traffic! We Geo Cached in Larkhill for the first time!
Kids beds were squeaky, Bannister is squeaky, a bit too mobile. Curtain rail was still broken on our stay and because of the damage deposit, we took photos of everything that looked chipped or broken (a bowl, the heater panel)
