So, so clean. Comfortable, Great shower for a static home. Hot tub clean and looked after. Everything is provided that you will need.
Outdoor cushions need storage as they were very vulnerable to the rain.

Very comfortable and clean lodge - I would score it 10, but the site facilites took 2 points off. Lovely quiet setting with lots of open space and walks around the lakes. The ponies and donkeys were a big hit too.
The Lodge could do with at least one other dining chair. It sleeps 6 but only has 4 chairs. Regarding site facilities, only one of the 2 available washing machines was working, and we never managed to time it right to use it. The pool is fine but the changing room was dirty and could do with more hooks and shelves to put things on. The cafe closes for 2 hours over lunchtime?! Some of the playbarn activities were out of order or missing parts. So, lodge lovely but site facilites were a bit lacking..

The site was lovely, quiet and not too many people with lots of clean, outside space available. Walks through the woodland and around the lakes, a few animals to see, the pool area was kept clean and tidy with numbers limited to each pool slot (1hr slots).
Daily hot tub checks, and maintenance team keep the place looking great.
Overall a well kept site in a peaceful location.
While it didn't bother us at all, some people may find the small shop to be lacking, however 10minutes away are larger shops and supermarkets
From a personal perspective, no negatives as we wanted a small peaceful site to relax and get away.

Location is beautiful. Lots of facilities and animals, small playground and outdoor pool. Lovely woods walk. The lodge I stayed at, the private lodge, was perfect for me and my family. My son is autistic and is a flight risk and our lodge was fully enclosed, giving us peace of mind. Hot tub was also excellent. Lodge had nearly everything it needed - pots, pans, cutlery, salt and pepper, smart tv, wifi, clothes horse etc. Apart from the check in (see next paragraph), we all really enjoyed our time at the location. Lots of bins around the location also.
Booking.com told me that the check in time is from 3pm to midnight. My family landed at Pembroke Dock at 12pm. It was a 5 hour drive to the campsite. We stopped on the way to change nappies, let the kids stretch their legs, feed the baby, stop at Tesco. We got to the campsite at 9pm. There was nobody in reception. Reception had closed at 8.30pm, contrary to what booking.com said. There was an emergency number on the door of reception, which I tried calling approximately 20 times - no answer. My wife and kids were extremely distressed. I walked around to find help, time was 10:30pm. Thankfully, I found a gentleman walking his dog - he told me he worked at the location. He told me to wait for 2 minutes so he could put his dog home. He came back with a lady. Together they checked me in and gave me keys. I never heard back from the accommodation of why I tried to call so many times. Extremely disappointing that nobody would pick up the "emergency" call. If that gentleman hadn't been out walking his dog, we'd have had to pay to stay somewhere else for the night, and the lodge was already expensive enough. Only two small towels provided with our lodge also - not ideal when there was 5 of us staying there. Overall, would have given the location a 10 out of 10, if the emergency number was answered and we were helped.
