We were a huge group - 17 people - and finding a place that fits everyone without 'breaking the bank' is nearly impossible. But this place was a gem. The hosts were incredibly flexible and offered us a great deal on transfers and public transport passes. The location is right next to the metro, with 24/7 shops around, and the neighbourhood, while not fancy, has a great vibe. The balcony was legendary - we spent hours there just hanging out. Air conditioning worked like a charm (a lifesaver in August), and we had enough bathrooms and beds for everyone. What really stood out was the service: the managers were always available, sorted out every little issue, and even let us store our bags and use the facilities well after checkout because no one was checking in right away. That kind of trust and hospitality is rare.
We did have one tiny hiccup - ran out of hot water once because, well, 17 people showering nonstop is a lot. But the host fixed it fast and adjusted the system so we never had the problem again. Also, some people say the area isn't the safest or most glamorous, but honestly? We never felt unsafe. It's diverse, lively, and a bit chaotic - but in a good way. Sure, it's not a luxury neighbourhood, but for the price, the space, and the convenience, it was absolutely perfect for us.
