location to Bude. safe for dogs and access to great field for exercise . views and easy access to widemouth bay and Bude. upstairs living area perfect. Bedrooms small but comfortable

the bathroom is a huge disappointment and not what i expect for 9.7 score in Booking.com. facilities themselves modern and all spotlessly clean. Though bath is very high for climbing into especially for someone 5foot 2 in height. Room itself needs a complete overhaul , quite grotty and grim behind toilet area. This is a huge negative and not acceptable . Cottages.com describe it as””stylish bathroom” . it is far from that. i have photos if required. In double room skirting board is coming away from wall and walls need refresh painting job. Nowhere in description is it mentioned that this is an abandoned holiday park ( though “ old tennis courts” should have been a clue) and overall while the wee enclosed courtyard area is quaint and pretty, outside area and buildings just have an air of neglect about them. It’s a fabulous site and with some cosmetic improvements could surely be returned to what it once was i have no doubt. I will be contacting cottages.com directly with same

Can't fault this great find! Our first booking with booking.com and we were pleasantly surprised. Beds were comfy, a well equipped kitchen and the host had even left tea, coffee and dishwasher tablets! Good wi-fi and a lovely big field to walk the dog. Right on the doorstep of Widemouth Bay and Bude, beautiful.

Location is ace, being so close to widemouth and black rock was ideal for us. The option to walk the dog off the lead on the fields in the morning and evening(old golf course) was really handy.

The actual accommodation inside the cottage is a decent standard and clean. Unfortunately the site itself is looking tired and in need of some tlc
