Honestly, if I was simply rating my stay based on the staff's customer service and amazing hospitality, this would be a 15/10!
The kitchen staff were so nice and polite and even fixed me breakfast in 5 minutes on a day I was in a rush. The front of house staff were also very helpful. Faith was the MVP of my stay. She was not only welcoming as the hotel receptionist but also helped me book train tickets and even got me supplies from a local supermarket. You can't beat that level of service.
It's the heart of the CBD so a busy and noisy hub but don't let that put you off from staying there.
The only thing I'd add to help them try achieve 10/10 reviews is that stuff like the shower heads could do with a bit of an upgrade to prevent the water going everywhere while showering. Some shower curtains would be useful for the same reason. But again, don't let this put anyone off because this place is an absolute value for money!

Location. In CBD area. A lot of stores and things to do in area. 24 hour supermarket within walking distance.
Power went out in area for a long time. I know the hotel can’t control that. A solar generator would be good addition.

Comfortable bed and clean bathroom.
The restaurant was really bizarre. We went to eat dinner and they were out of 80% of everything and then confused when we said we were going somewhere else. So random!
