We stayed for four nights and there was much to like about the apartment. It was very clean and superbly located opposite the Picasso Museum, making it an excellent base for exploring historic Málaga.
Unfortunately, on our first day the internal bedroom door handle came away in my hand during normal use. The bedroom is at the rear of the second-floor apartment, with no external window or alternative exit. Had the handle failed with the door closed and us inside, we could potentially have been unable to leave or readily summon assistance. We therefore kept the bedroom door wedged open for the remainder of our stay.
What particularly disappointed us was the subsequent handling of the matter. After checkout, management sought payment for the repair despite later acknowledging that the photographs could not establish exactly how the handle had failed. More concerningly, a photograph supplied as evidence that the bedroom handle was intact before our arrival actually showed the inside of the apartment’s main entrance door, not the bedroom door concerned. We challenged this and declined the charge, asking that Booking.com review the matter independently.
For us, the issue is less about the relatively small repair cost and more about the potential safety implications and the way responsibility was attributed when the cause of the failure had not been established. Future guests should also be aware that this is a very dark internal bedroom without an external window or alternative exit.
We agree with many of the positive comments about the apartment, particularly its cleanliness and excellent location. It is therefore unfortunate that what should have been a straightforward maintenance issue became such a prolonged and frustrating dispute. We hope management reviews both the bedroom-door issue and how such matters are handled in future.

The apartment was situated in a perfect location, walking distance from wonderful attractions. It was modern & having two bathrooms was a bonus.
The only downside was that the sofa & cushions had stains & was a little uncomfortable.

localization is amazing,
the apartment is quite new
We were the group of 3 adults and within the m2 given in the description and the fact of 2 bathrooms, we hoped for very comfortable stay. But:
-there are almost no wardrobes in the whole apartment. There is only 1 small wardrobe in the salon and that’s it. It really was disaster, we had to keep everything in suitcases and it took all the space the apartment has.
-within the given m2 you have long narrow corridor in which you can’t put anything so the real space is much smaller
-the bathrooms issue- there were supposed to be 2 bathrooms with showers. The shower in the first small one is still not working properly (other reviews also states about it). It was clogged from the day one and the door of the cabin are not closing so the water is everywhere.
The second shower is… in the bedroom. Really, with no wall, no curtain no nothing. So the only shower we really had, could have been used only if there were nobody in the bedroom. This solution is really crazy.
-no vacuum cleaner. We spent 10 days, going to the beach and stuff. There is no vacuum cleaner in the apartment which also is crazy.
-the elevator going to the apartment. We had a situation where we call the elevator and our neighbour was riding down from the floor above us. One of us in the apartment was changing and another one wanted to go down. So the elevator suddenly opened in our apartment with the stranger inside and my friend was shirtless at the same time. It was extremely uncomfortable.
-the trash- there is no big dustbin in the building. How have to walk with you trash bags to the nearest square, walking by the restaurants and tourists, to empty your trash
