As a single traveller, I found 16A represented good value budget accommodation right in the centre of Dorchester. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped.
Traffic noise from Dorchester’s very busy High Street leaves little peace in the living room / kitchen area. Thankfully though, in the bedroom area with the door shut it was pleasantly quiet, so you can get a decent night’s sleep.

The apartment (number 16) was quite small but had been well fitted-out and had everything we needed for a one-night stay. There were only two of us and it would have been a bit of a squeeze for 4, although there was sufficient bedding, sleeping space, etc. It is on a main street but the bedroom is at the back so we were not disturbed by traffic.
Parking at the property was a little challenging as the space behind the apartment is small and it is easy to become blocked in. However, there is a public car park just a short walk away.

Location was ideal for me. I got the train to Dorchester, flat is 15 minutes walk, right in town. Very comfy, nice flat, great facilities.
As it's part of a listed building, the front isn't double glazed, so the front room is a little noisy if you're in for the evening. Bedroom at the back is very quiet though.

Mattress needs replacing for sure
Minor but could do with a bread knife
The smell of damp or mould needs addressing as the dehumidifier and various perfume sources don’t overcome.
