The lodge is very cosy, nicely furnished and very comfortable. The view is amazing, we even saw two elephants on the other side of the road, beautiful! And on top of that you support the kids in an orphanage as well! 🙏🏾❤️

We loved our stay here. You have the lodge & garden area to yourself. The bed was really comfy, it has a mosquito net as well, we didn’t get bitten once. The WiFi was probably the strongest we’ve had in Uganda. The shower was hot whenever we took a shower. The breakfast was simple but good.. juices, breads, fruits, eggs etc but basically whatever you like. Dennis the security guy is there to look after the lodge so it’s really safe, not that we actually felt like we needed it. Stuart is super helpful with local recommendations of things to do, restaurants to eat at etc. We really recommend this place, it’s brilliant value for money.

Die Lodge war sehr schön, mit einem großen Bett, ideal für zwei Personen. Durch die Lage an der Kasese road war es einfach zu erreichen, auch ohne eigenes Auto. Stuart, der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und stets hilfsbereit. Außerdem gab es einen kleinen Kühlschrank mit ein wenig kalten Getränken. Die Bezahlung und Kommunikation liefen sehr unkompliziert.
Das WLAN hat leider nicht funktioniert und auch das Wasser war leider nur am ersten Tag verfügbar. Das Mückennetz hatte ein paar Schwachstellen, sodass wir leider etwas mit Moskitos zu kämpfen hatten.

There were some things that were nice here and some things that weren't ideal. To start with the good, the little cottage is nicely built and spacious. There is a good, comfortable bed with a large mosquito net and a good small fridge that worked.
Stuart and Joel were also very friendly and good to chat with about the area.
Stuart leaves juice and water for guests and there is a very small breakfast that they drop off in a box in the morning. Nothing special but it was fine.
Lastly, it's close to the park and outside of Kasese so you aren't too bothered by the city chaos and can get to the park easily in the morning if you are heading that way.
We did not have any hot water while we were there. The hot water box light did not seem to come on at all so that may need to be fixed.
There was no wifi. It sounds like it has been down for quite some time. Stuart was trying to get it sorted with the company but it did not work while we were there.
The water from the sink leaks under the sink, out the bathroom and into the bedroom. So you will have water on the floor of the bedroom if you use it.
Lastly, we did have some security concerns. Nothing happened and we had no actual issues but there is a gate around the property that is only complete on three sides. The side closest to the property is open. During our whole stay, people would stand at the gate and stare at us and many asked us for money.
All of this is intended to be constructive. If some of these are fixed, the place is a fine stay, but I think some of these are important to resolve.
