The private pool was definitely one of the highlights of our stay, together with the very practical layout of the house and the spacious, enjoyable outdoor areas. The location is also extremely convenient, with the beach, supermarkets, ATMs and several restaurants all within easy reach.
The air conditioning worked perfectly throughout the house, and the Wi-Fi was excellent – fast and reliable. We also really appreciated the thoughtful welcome touches, such as the inflatables available for the pool and even ice already waiting for us in the freezer – a small but very welcome detail for gin & tonic lovers!
Overall, it was exactly the kind of relaxing and refreshing stay we were looking for. The host was always extremely kind, helpful and available whenever we needed anything. We would definitely be happy to come back.
I think expectations should always be considered in relation to the price paid, so we weren’t particularly surprised to find some of the furniture and equipment visibly worn from extensive use, and occasionally damaged, such as some of the sun loungers. The property has clearly hosted many guests over time and, unfortunately, it also seems that not everyone has treated it with the same level of care and respect.
The main area where I would suggest some improvement is the initial cleaning. On arrival, we found a few pieces of broken glass on the terrace, some hair on otherwise clean cushions, and a used paper tissue left on one of the outdoor armchairs. These are relatively minor details, but they’re also easily avoidable with a more thorough final check by the cleaning team before new guests arrive.
That said, none of these points significantly affected our stay, which was very positive overall.
